Description

Key Responsibly: 

Legal Advisory: 

  • Provide legal advice on corporate matters, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • Study contracts with external firms, identify risks, and protect the company’s interests.

Litigation Management:

  • Manage litigation cases and collaborate with external counsel when necessary.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings to safeguard corporate interests.
  • Coordinate with external legal offices on more complex or escalated cases.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Oversee corporate compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
  • Support internal audits and provide legal guidance on compliance matters.
  • Write and review contracts to ensure they align with regulatory and business requirements.

Policies, Processes & Procedures:

  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, taking into account "international best practice," improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Safety, Quality & Environment:

  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in corporate legal practice.
  • Deep understanding of Saudi legal system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, or equivalent is required.
  • Professional legal qualification e.g., SASL is required.
  • Saudi Bar Association membership is required.
  • Corporate Law, Commercial Law, or Intellectual Property certifications is preferred.
