Head of Legal and Company Secretary (Electric Vehicles)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Ebusco, you will be responsible for all legal matters within the company and support the Board and Supervisory Board. You will provide strategic and legal advice, ensuring the company complies with applicable laws and regulations, nationally and internationally. You will also oversee corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external legal advisors, and government bodies, and serve as a key advisor to the management team. As Company Secretary, you will ensure that board meetings run efficiently and that legal and governance obligations are met.

This is how you make an impact...

• Advising the Board and senior management on legal matters, governance, and risk issues;
• Managing and resolving legal matters, including contracts, disputes, and corporate restructurings;
• Responsible for corporate governance and compliance, including drafting policies and procedures;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant national and international laws and regulations, such as privacy, Labor, and corporate law;
• Maintaining relationships with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities;
• Supporting mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence processes;
• Coordinating legal risks and ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations and ESG criteria.

THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING...

• Master’s degree in Dutch law, preferably with a specialization in corporate law.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience in corporate governance, compliance, and managing legal risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in Dutch and English.
• A proactive, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ESG legislation and sustainability is a plus.
