What you´ll do

  • Legal contact (lead lawyer) for defined business units of the Adhesive Technologies business unit
  • Proactive legal support and advice for specialists and managers in Henkel's industrial business
  • Broad commercial law orientation across the entire range of contract, distribution and antitrust law issues in the global B2B environment
  • Conceptual and legally compliant drafting and negotiation of international contracts for Henkel's industrial business
  • Strategic risk management including support for product recalls and other product crises
  • Special projects and interdisciplinary project work on various topics beyond the traditional core area of legal advice
  • Close and trusting cooperation with the internal specialist departments and the lawyers of our foreign subsidiaries
  • Coordination and management of external lawyers and law firms at an international level

What makes you a good fit

  • Fully qualified lawyer with honours degree
  • Legal clerkship/first relevant professional experience in an international commercial law firm and/or a globally operating company with a focus on commercial/corporate law
  • Interest and initial knowledge of general commercial, contract and distribution law and ideally basic knowledge of antitrust law
  • Fluency in English, preferably gained abroad
  • Experience in international contract drafting and negotiation is an advantage
  • Sound understanding of economic interrelationships, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and a precise, independent and pragmatic way of working
  • Enjoy working in a very international environment as part of a global, motivated team that enjoys challenges and takes pleasure in responsibility
