About the role:

Managing all legal aspects of the business;
- Drafting, amending, negotiating and managing all commercial contracts;
- Maintaining all compliance & regulatory requirements;
- Handling and promoting all health, safety and environment objectives and policies;
Acting as the Company Secretary and performed all related duties
Handling all corporate governance matters
Liaising with external law firms; and
Supporting overseas legal requirements when needed.

The ideal candidate:

Senior Legal Counsel (6+ years PQE) with experience advising large corporate organisations ideally involved in the resources sector (mining, oil, gas etc); with
The ability to work autonomously as well as engage collaboratively with key stakeholders globally; and
Currently working for a major law firm or an in-house legal team of a large corporation.
