Legal Counsel I

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of innovation and entertainment development in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a Legal Counsel I to join our dedicated team. In this entry-level legal position, you will support the legal department in various tasks, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations while facilitating smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely legal advice, as required; and responses to legal requests raised by other departments and/or subsidiaries.
• Support in the development and implementation of the Legal Department’s strategy and legal framework; and processes aimed at avoiding regulatory/contract infringements as well as protecting QIC’s and/or its subsidiaries’ tangible and intangible assets.
• Lead transactions and matters from the Legal Department including, where necessary, managing external legal counsel and review their work product.
• Manage claims and disputes raised by or against QIC or its subsidiaries, with support, where required, from external legal counsel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Law (LLM/Juris Doctorate).
• Admission to practice law in KSA is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a global law firm or corporate legal department
• understanding of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is a plus
