Job Title: (Senior) Legal Counsel - Digital Power

Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany


Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review: Review and negotiate agreements with suppliers and customers for our Digital Power Department.
  • Compliance Issue: Provide expert legal advice to the management and the business units of the Digital Power Department on relevant compliance matters.
  • Litigation & Dispute Management: Work with external attorneys to defend the Company's rights involved in disputes settlement and litigation.
  • Project Legal Support: Support all related legal aspects regarding commercial projects pertaining to the Digital Power Department business.
  • Others: Other general legal support relating to the Digital Power Department; may be required to travel to other European countries for short-term business trips.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in a technology related industry
  • Lawyer qualification in Germany or any other EU member state would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, corporate, employment and immigration law; basic knowledge of EU law regarding data protection, cyber security and competition law
  • Strong business acumen and team player
  • Business fluent in German and English
