🪶 You are:

A dynamic leader for our legal strategy and regulatory compliance, someone who can advise on a wide range of legal issues, in the changing landscape of cryptocurrency and decentralized finance (DeFi). You have a strong interest in bringing Real World Assets to Crypto with experience working closely with the SEC and securities law.

🪶 Overall Responsibilities

  • Lead all legal aspects of the business, focusing on regulatory compliance with U.S. securities laws (especially SEC regulations) and international jurisdictions.

  • Advise executive leadership on legal and regulatory risks associated with blockchain and crypto projects, including real-world assets (RWAs) tokenization.

  • Collaborate with external product and engineering teams to ensure the legal robustness of the ecosystem’s DeFi offerings.

  • Develop and maintain company policies for compliance with evolving regulations in the blockchain space.

  • Oversee external legal partnerships and manage litigation as necessary.

🪶 Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

  • 8+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on SEC regulations and securities law.

  • Deep understanding of U.S. financial regulations, especially as they pertain to crypto and blockchain.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the rapidly changing cryptocurrency landscape.

  • Experience in advising startups or tech companies is preferred.
